  1. SIKH WEDDING: Sikh wedding focus on unique moments between the couple and family members, reflecting on what is important in life. Pre-Wedding Rituals are Roka and Thaka, kurmai, Shagan, Chunni Chadana, Maiya, Vatnaa, Karahi Chadana, Warna, Gaana, Mehndi, Chura and Kalire, Wedding attire for bride&groom. The Sikh Wedding rituals are Sehra Bandi , Soorma and Kalgi, Baraat , Milni, Anand Karaj, Lavan Pheras, Anand Sahib , Langar and post wedding Rituals are Sadaa Suhagab , Reception, Doli.

Hindu wedding ceremonies and rituals are Muhurat , Roka, Barni Bandhwana, Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, Baraat , Milni, Bride’s Entry, Jaimala,Kanyadaan, Mandap ,Havan, Pheras and Sindoor, Joota Chupai, Bidaai and can takes a week or more . But good enough to celebrate 3 days in abroad such as day one Ganesh Puja, day two mehndi ceremony and Sangeet, day three wedding Ceremony and reception.
  3. MEHNDI: A mehndi ceremony is for the bride and her closest friends and family members. The main purpose of the Mehndi, makes bridal henna design, to her hands and feet.
  4. SANGEET: It happens after the mehndi ceremony. It is for family members to put on a musical performance to welcome the bride’s family to the groom’s family. The Sangeet means “music” . Most of the Sangeet Parties (musical parties) loud with Bollywood music like a reception but huge fun.
  5. BARAAT: The Baraat is arrival of the groom with his friends and families, greeting by the bride’s family at the Venue. Bride’s family greet the groom and his family when he reached the venue. The bride not included in the Baraat. Nowadays, the Groom’s arrival ceremony is held with a luxury vehicle or classic vehicle  instead of horse or elephants.

SOFREH AGHD
Sofreh aghd is a Persian ceremony that represents the symbolic union of the bride and groom. While the ceremony is conducted, women or female relatives of the couple hold a fine cloth, over the couple’s head. They alternate grinding the sugar cones over the bride and groom’s head, adding more sweetness to their life together. It is a symbolic act used to send good wishes to the happy newly weds.

 
  1. ESFAND: A Persian incense that is burned and used to ward away the evil eye.The burning esfand is an important part of Iranian culture that ensures that the “evil eye” does not harm. At an Iranian wedding, as the bride walks down the aisle, one of the Bridesmaids burns Esfand and holds it around the bride several times.
  2. THE MIRROR: Reflects what is before it, so symbolically it brings the couple abundance and brightness in their future. The candles bring passion and energy. Decorated eggs and nuts in their shells: For wishes of fertility. Gold and Silver: for good wishes of prosperity.
  3. FRESH FLOWERS: To bring beauty in the couple’s life together. Fresh fruits: for a joyous future. Rosewater: to perfume the air and bring beauty.
  4. DIPPING FINGERS IN HONEY: In Iranian weddings, The honey represents their sweet life together. As a tradition, while the Groom is holding the honey bowl, he puts his little finger into the honey and they feed it to each other.
  5. “BALEH” : The important part in this tradition is the part where the officer asks the bride, “The bride does not answer and repeats the question three times – this symbolizes the groom’s journey to win the love of his wife. At the last moment, the bride finally accepts, saying “baleh!”
